What kind of melodies?

This set of lessons is aimed at students who are preparing to compose a 16-bar melody under exam conditions. Different types of questions are outlined as well as the problems that students often encounter with them.

Define melody
It is a series of musical notes arranged in succession, in a particular rhythmic pattern, to form a recognisable or meaningful unit. It is a tune.
